Anne Zahalka is one of Australia’s most highly regarded photo-media artists having exhibited extensively in Australia and overseas. After more than 30 years on the contemporary art stage, Anne’s work has cemented its place in art history, becoming an important part of the Australian cultural landscape she’s explored throughout her career.
SERVICES
Taking in Anne’s vast portfolio you can’t help but feel nostalgic and forward-looking all at once; her art provokes both a sense of yearning for what was while deeply rooting us in what is. To embody the provocative nature of Anne's work, the website is clean and sparse - an eclectic curated destination in its own right - leaving ample visual space to reflect and consider. The works are 'hung' true to their intended ambit, including every element of the artwork data in the image lightboxes. The result is a clean, functional site that focuses on the subtleties as much as it does the overview.
